Assignment #2 DOF & Motion

              Depth Of View

During my photo's I experimented with many different focus points. Whether it was focusing on the front, the middle, or back of an object. So that my pictures wouldn't look so much a like. Also pushing for different scenarios, that's not as common.
This photo I wanted to do something different with colors.
So I made them pop a little more than they were, giving a
magical look. It came out pretty good, in my opinion.
This photo was overall my favorite.
Just because of how the sunset affected this picture.
This photo was unintentionally, but made for a good picture.
The colors were to powerful, and gave a overall good calm look.

This photo came out good also. #DEADFISH

                                                                                Motion
When it came to motion, I wanted to be different. What I mean by that is going away from just doing people moving and etc. I wanted to show other aspects in the world with their movement. Me personally, I accomplished that.

This photo had an overall good color scheme.
It needed a little more sense that it was moving, but overall wasn't bad.
There was many photos' of this taken. This one did justice for this particular
assignment because of the blur that's at the bottom of the boat. Giving it a sense that its moving.
This photo fitted perfect into the aspect of motion for this assignment.
Giving an overall got amount of blur, to me this one was the best.

This photo came out good, not an over exaggerated amount of blur.
But it gets the job down. Closer shot of the wave would've probably did more justice in this case.

Assignment #2 Check-In

This picture along with many others I took, was focusing on motion. The picture came out good, but I was going for a little blur motion so it looks like its moving rather than standing still. But the image came out good either way.

During these pictures is me using different DOF. One of them focusing on what's behind rather than what's in front. As another focuses on what's right in front of you, and blur out the back of it. While the last one focuses on the middle, rather than the front or back. Which blur our the front and back as seen.

Black & White Assignment

The Original

The Perfect One
The reason I picked this one as the *Perfect One* is because it flows so naturally. For example, to me it doesn't looked forced. The amount light to dark complements each other, and with gives it a very unique and mystically look.

I was going for a look that had a natural feel to it, rather than something that was over powering itself. Some of the tools I used to accomplish this look was levels, curves, brightness and contrast adjusters. To me, I accomplish the look I was going for, and I am satisfied with the results.

Solo Post-Introduction

My name is Jason Adams. I was born in Anniston, Alabama and later on moved to Fayetteville, Ga. During my 8th Grade year (2016) and I have been there ever since. As of right now I am 20 years old, attending Bethel University. I'm the second youngest, having 3 other siblings. One being younger than me, and the other two being older. I'm an Art Major, I mostly concentrate with Graphic Design, and Photography.

Growing up, I always had a thing for art. But as of right now I'm getting back in the grove of things because I was focusing on sports more than art. Which I only blame myself for because I wanted to be something in Football. I accomplished a lot on that path, but it was time to switch things up. It was time to be real with myself on what I wanted out my life, instead of living somebody else's dream that wasn't mine. As I got older, I matured and realized I needed to go back to my roots and embrace something that was my first love. While on that path, I've been happier in life, opportunities have presented themselves, and I'm curious to see where this path takes me in the future. Not saying it's gonna be easy, but I'm ready to put forth the effort to make it a great experience. Through bad or good.
